Job Description

Having the flexibility to set your own schedule and work for yourself seems too good to be true, right? As it turns out, it’s not. You can be your own boss while raking in the cash by driving with Lyft, and you can earn using nothing but a smartphone app and your car.

Lyft matches drivers with passengers who request rides through our smartphone app, and passengers pay automatically through the app. Whether you’re trying to offset costs of your car, cover this month’s bills, or fund your dreams, Lyft will get you there. So, go ahead. Be your own boss.

  • Ensure that customers arrive safely and timely to their destinations
  • Foster positive customer satisfaction by providing great experience during rides
  • Manage routes and navigation using state of the art smartphone technology
  • Track mileage, maintenance, and other miscellaneous expenses tied to the business

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Pass a criminal background check and DMV check
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Valid plates with current registration (commercial plates are also acceptable)
  • Current valid insurance with your name on the policy (we also recommend you get rideshare insurance, though Lyft doesn’t require it)
  • *Vehicle requirements depend on the level of service you plan to drive for. See a full list here:
